Why are Some Clubs More Popular?: Although this guide lists more than 30 online DVD rental clubs, two of them account for 99 percent of the market. They are (1) Netflix, which is by far the largest, with more than two milllion members and 20+ distribution centers. Its standard plan is $16.99 per month to have up to three DVDs out at a time, but it also offers a $13.99 plan that allows you to have two at a time, or $8.99 for one at a time, and (2) Blockbuster Online, which offers new members their first month of three DVDs at a time for 50 percent off, or $9.99 (three DVDs at a time). Alternatively, you can select a free two-week trial. Members also receive a coupon each month for a free in-store DVD or game rental.

Don't Want to Join a Rental Club?: We recommend Intelliflix if you prefer to rent individual DVDs by mail. It charges $4 to $5 each per week, including postage. Intelliflix also has more than 30 distribution centers around the country, so you get your DVDs fast.

Popular Magazines for $3.99/Year: Best Deal Magazines offers U.S. residents more than 50 popular magazines for $3.99 per year when you use our exclusive coupon code, TAKE15OFF, to take 15 percent off your order. The site also has hundreds of other titles at huge discounts. You can start new subscriptions, extend those you already have, or purchase gifts. Unlike other magazine sites, BDM does not automatically renew subscriptions each year.
